At long last, a few days
without soaking rain. The drone of lawn mowers can be heard around the
neighbourhood, so I joined the ranks today to transform my yard from its
winter scruffiness to something a lot more presentable after its first mow of the season.
Weeds are already making an appearance in the garden beds, so I chose to ignore
them and look instead for what new life is bursting forth in my garden.
