Stargazing #3

Have been consulting Mr Google quite a bit since Stargazing Live has been on the ABC. All manner of terminology and data at my fingertips, mind boggling but utterly fascinating. Looking at what the planets are doing right now from my vantage point in the southern hemisphere, today’s poem was penned.

Jupiter passing
through constellation Libra
outshining the stars

But in a few hours, others will be appearing in the eastern sky, so couldn’t resist an extra one.

Mars chasing Saturn
along the ecliptic plane
through the Universe
