Water over Road
but it’s dry
We’ve had so much rain lately the local Council haven’t even bothered
removing the signs where water keeps covering the roads. The paddocks are so
saturated, the ground no longer has the capacity to absorb any more moisture,
so the only direction it can go is out, hence the reluctance to keep putting
signs up, then down, then up again as soon as the next rain episode occurs and
the roads go under. Would love it if all this precipitation could move
northwards and relieve New South Wales and Queensland farmers of their plight.
